So, why exactly did I decide to make a list of my 100 favorite small space solutions? Funny story (not really)! I happened to come across an ad for Tiny Homes and I've been completely intrigued ever since.

Several of my friends live in Tiny Homes. However, I never knew just how awesome and inexpensive they were. So, I decided to do a little browsing and I made a list of my Favorite Tiny Homes. You can actually find that list here:

Top 10 Inflatable Pontoon Boats - Plus 1 For Good Luck!

My son-in-law rented a pontoon boat for the day and ever since then, I've been wanting to go back out.

We had the best time ever!  Only problem is... regular pontoon boats can be quite expensive.  So... what's a good alternative?  An inflatable pontoon boat of course! 
I can tell you one thing... these are NOT your typical inflatables AND once I get some money, I will definitely be investing in one of these!  They are amazing and we are having the perfect weather to be out on the water right now.

TOP 48 WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS & PROGRAMS

As you can see from the photo above, I've struggled with my weight for most of my life.  So please know that I did NOT take this research lightly!

  Upon looking for the best "get fit" programs and products, I came across quite a few that were truly awesome.  However, the awesome programs were individually relative.  What I mean by that is... a lot of the get fit programs out there worked for someone and that someone decided to market that program to everyone.  Raise your hand if you've been dieting long enough to know that one single program doesn't work for every single person.

So, what exactly is my reasoning behind this blog?  In a single word... options!  You will never get fit if you're not consistent.  And... what triggers consistency?  Variety and simplicity!  So, what might be a simple get fit program or product for one person may not be a simple get fit program or product for another.  The plan we choose for ourselves has to be one that's not only intriguing, but attainable.
Personally, I chose the Paleo Program.  It was something I felt would work with my lifestyle and my goals.  I lost 41 pounds, was relieved of pain from a previous knee injury, rid my body of inflammation, got rid of my chronic migraines and finally got my life back.  It's been about 15 months and I've had no problem sticking with the program and keeping the weight off.

So, I've weeded through a lot of different programs / products and I've made a list of the ones I felt would benefit a variety of people with a variety of goals living a variety of lifestyles.  Take your time and actually look at each one.  Determine whether or not you feel it would be something you can stick with.  Once you've found that ONE get fit program or product that WILL work for you, RUN with it and don't give up!

Yes!  Yes!  Yes!  You are going to want The Diaper Genie.  Best invention EVER!  This one comes completely assembled and it's ready to use immediately.  We like that kind!  It's got a foot pedal and an air tight closure to keep the stinkies tucked away where they belong.  You can get this Diaper Genie here:  Playtex Diaper Genie.


I make it a point to recommend these to every new parent and they always thank me up and down.  Now, you may already be aware of this little money-saving tip.  If so, please feel free to move down to the next.  These are exactly what they look like... Gerber Birdseye 3-Ply Prefold Cloth Diapers.  Yes, I would most definitely say this brand is my highest recommendation when it comes to cloth diapers.  However, that's not what I'm thinking when it comes to the intended use.  I used these as feeding / burping cloths.  Not only did it save me hundreds of dollars in fancy bibs, they're super absorbent so those feeding leaks are immediately absorbed AND they're 100% cotton.  SO much softer than those itchy bibs!  They wash well too!  You can get them here:  Gerber Birdseye 3-Ply Prefold Cloth Diapers.


I'm fairly certain it's the same today as it was when I had my little ones.  You will NOT be permitted to leave the hospital unless you have a car seat for your new baby.  The absolute best one I've found is the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat.  Now, car seats aren't cheap so investing in one that will give you many years of use is a very smart idea.  This one goes from 5 pounds to 100 pounds.  Having a boy?  Don't let the photo deter you.  It comes in 9 different color variations.  You can see them all here: Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. 


This would most likely be the most appreciated baby shower gift for any expecting mommy.  The Metene Medical Forehead and Ear Thermometer.  While none of us like to think about our babies being sick, it's inevitable.  Being so easy and practical, I can guarantee you this thermometer will have it's fair share of use.  You can also rest easy knowing that it went through some serious FDA clinical testing.  It's actually recommended by medical experts because it's so reliable.  There are quite a few other features and you can see them here:  Metene Medical Forehead and Ear Thermometer

Making a conscious effort to stay on topic, let's talk about the "not so glamorous" parental duties...
